I’m a writer based in London, completing a PhD at Durham University. I’m writing a book on this material, which is an attempt to build a new cultural history of reproductive rights activism in Britain and Ireland. For all things book related, I am represented by Jon Curzon at Artellus Ltd.
More generally, I also write exhibition texts and about art, literature, film and culture for publications like the Financial Times, Frieze, The Guardian, MUBI Notebook, the Times Literary Supplement, Tribune and many more. I interview artists, writers, and filmmakers like Lubaina Himid, Eimear McBride and Virginie Despentes. I’ve also been shortlisted for the Felicity Bryan Associates New Voices Programme; in 2024 and 2025, I was also longlisted for The Observer/Anthony Burgess Prize for Arts Journalism.
Alongside my research and writing, I’ve taught English, Philosophy and Creative Writing at UCL, Durham University, Bournemouth University and the University of Winchester.
